2007 has got off to a flying start at St Pats, with many achievements already. The year began for the year 13’s with a very rewarding and successful retreat for 3 days. We were able to bond well with our class mates and learn from many fun and challenging activities. On the final day of the retreat, the MYL boys for 2007 talked to the year group about what we did and what we got out of the fantastic week down at St Bede’s.

First update of Aquinas College!

The year of 2007 is well under way and our first full group of year 13’s love it. We started the year with the eight leaders which went down to Christchurch welcoming the year 7’s to school and introducing ourselves. Also staying in class with them for two periods and helping the year eleven’s take them for peer support.

Demand for places at MaristYouthLeader meant that in January the Programme was run twice, in consecutive weeks.  Ninety-two students attended the first week, and fifty-two the second week.  As well as that development, a new Presenting Team, made up of graduates of MaristYouthLeader, was used for the first time.
